Wilson, Tyler

Funeral services for Tyler Wilson, 18, will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Wilcox, former pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in the Abernathy Cemetery by Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy.

Mr. Wilson died Saturday, Aug, 25, 2001.

He was born Aug. 31, 1982, in Lubbock. He was a 2001 graduate of Abernathy High School and was involved in all sports. He was named to the Texas Coaches Association Class 2A All-State Baseball Team and the All-District first team. He was listed in Who?s Who of American High School Students for the Past two years.

Survivors include his parents, Chris and Tracy Wilson; a sister, Ashton Wilson of Abernathy; his grandparents, Carroll and Karen Bradley of Abernathy, and Alma Wilson of Lubbock; and a great-grandmother, Jean Struve of Abernathy.
