Willis, Paul E., Mrs. (Teresa Ann Carr)
Teresa Ann Carr Willis, 72, of Petersburg passed away on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015, in Lubbock. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, in the Petersburg Cemetery with the Rev. Jesse Nave officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, Oct. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Paul and Teresa's home located at 2312 Ave. H in Petersburg. Teresa was born on Sept. 20, 1943, in Levelland, Texas, to J.T. and Kathleen Carr. She married Paul E. Willis on Dec. 30, 1971, in Hereford, Texas. She was a retired cosmetologist. Teresa was an A.C.B.L. member and also received the Life Master rank in bridge. She was preceded in death by her father, J.T. Carr and mother, Kathleen Hoffpauir. Teresa is survived by her husband, Paul E. Willis; daughters, Sonya Powell of Wichita, Kansas, Narissa Woodland of Brawley, California; Misty Nesler of Petersburg; two brothers, John Eldon Carr of Longview, Doyle Carr of Green Valley, Arizona; one sister, Linda Natvig of Westminster, Colorado; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
