Obituary

Funeral services for Thelma Jo Ellis Williams, 43, of Albuquerque, N.M., former Plainview resident, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in New Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Van Delony of Fort Worth and Clarence Bullock, a deacon of Topeka, Kan., officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Bartley Funeral Home. Ms. Williams died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2004, in Albuquerque. She was born Nov. 24, 1961, in Hamlin. She moved to Albuquerque in 1986 from Plainview and was a secretary for an employment agency. Survivors include her father, A.C. Ellis Sr., of Plainview; two daughters, Shawndeish and Latoni Ellis, both of Albuquerque; four sisters, Charlene Bullock of Topeka, Kan., Shirley Ellis Barr of Plainview, Mary Williams of Germany and Linda Ellis of Garden City, Kan.; four brothers, Charles Ellis of Albuquerque, Ricky Ellis of Lubbock, James Ellis of Plainview and Milton Ellis of Claytonville, Kan.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Her mother, Leola Ellis, died in 1996.
