Obituary

PLAINVIEW - Orester Williams, 68, of Halfway died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Bethel Baptist Church in Abernathy with the Rev. W.R. Bolton officiating. Burial will be at Halfway Cemetery by Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview.

Orester was born July 14, 1940, in Hearne, to Nelson and Alma Ree Williams. On June 23, 1961, he married Freddie Mae Satchel in Plainview.

Survivors include a son, Silvester Williams of San Antonio and two sisters, Irene Williams of Hearne and Lillian Ingram of California.
