Williams, Herman

Funeral services for Herman Williams, 73, will be a 1 p.m. Friday in New Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Edward Jennings, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Ossie Curry Funeral Home of Lubbock.

Mr. Williams died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1999, at his residence.

He was born Nov. 30, 1925, in Teague. He moved to Plainview in 1954 from Red Oak. He was retired from Southwestern Grain where he worked for 24 years.

He was a member of New Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church.

In March of 1956, he married Louise Shaw in Plainview. She died Dec. 3, 1997.

Survivors include seven sons, Frankie L., Jerry, and Bobby Ray Williams, all of Dallas, Bryant Williams of Charlotte, N.C., Larry Williams of Plainview, Craig S. Williams of Midland and Marlin Williams of Livingston; five daughters, Mary L. Ivy and Erma J. Williams, both of Dallas, Debra K. Williams and Rita Faye Williams both of Plainview, and Patricia Morrison of Charlotte; a sister, Mae Francis Bugsby of Corsicana; 32 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
