Williams, Erester

ABERNATHY ? Funeral services for Erester Williams, 40, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. W.R. Bolton, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in the Halfway Cemetery by Bartley-Silva Funeral Home of Plainview.

Mr. Williams died May 31, 2003, at University Medical Center in Lubbock.

He was born July 11, 1962, in Lockney. He grew up in Plainview and graduated from PHS, where he played tennis, in 1982. He served in the Army National Guard.

He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Abernathy and had worked for Arby?s Restaurant in Lubbock.

Survivors include his parents, Orester and Freddie Williams of Halfway; a brother, Silvester Williams of San Antonio; two uncles, James Arthur Satchel of Hearne and Fred Satchel Jr., of Houston; two aunts, Lillian Ingram of Valencia, Calif., and Irene Williams of Hearne; and a great-aunt, Agusta Askew of Graham.
