Obituary

Nelson B. Willborn, 93, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008, in Plainview. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2008, in the Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. He was born Dec. 8, 1914, in McCulloch County, Texas, to James C.E. & Nancy Kelly Willborn. He married Hildy Lou Cade on Nov. 20, 1934, in Belton, Texas. She preceded him in death in August of 1993. He is survived by three sons, Richard N. Willborn of Plainview, James H. Willborn of Lubbock and Harvey N. Willborn of Plainview; one sister, Margaret Tillie Pile of Brownwood; eight grandchildren, Richard M. Willborn of Lubbock, Eric R. Willborn of Dallas, Pamela S. Riggs of Naperville, Ill., Barney L. Willborn of Stratford, Keila D. Wesley of Tulia, J. Quint Willborn of Lubbock, Serena Hutchinson of Macon, Ga., and Shane Willborn of Plainview; and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hildy Lou Willborn; and one daughter, Velma Lee Willborn.
