Obituary

William (Bill) Frederick Wiese completed his journey on this earth April 9, 2013. He was born Sept. 15, 1949, in Abilene, Texas, and adopted by Ray and Ima Wiese of Petersburg in 1951. Bill grew up, farmed and ranched in Petersburg, Texas, before moving to Hillston, New South Wales, Australia, where he ranched and introduced cotton farming. He also spent 10 years in Dallas, in the commercial real estate business. He made lifelong friends, who are his extended family, everywhere he lived over the world. His deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ more than prepared him for the last chapter - his life eternal with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is survived by his wife Sharon Wiese of Petersburg, his son and daughter-in-law Cody and Sara Griffin of Carlsbad, N.M., a brother Ken Wiese of Lubbock, and many cousins and friends across the world. He is deeply loved.
