DUMAS ? Ronald Scott (Ron) Whitfield, 57, died Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Plainview Memorial Park.

Mr. Whitfield was born Oct. 11, 1951, in Madisonville. He was a graduate of Dumas High School.

Survivors include his mother, Jackie Whitfield of Dumas; and a sister, Sharon Morrison of Amarillo.
