Obituary

Memorial services for Norma Jean White, 77, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Lemons Funeral Home Chapel with John Baird, chaplain of VistaCare Family Hospice, officiating. Ms. White died at 3:20 a.m. Saturday, April 3, 2004, in Hale County Nursing Center in Hale Center. She was born Feb. 19, 1927, in Oklahoma City. Survivors include one son, Curtis Samsel of Plainview; one grandson, Tim Samsel of Plainview; one great-granddaughter, Tasia Samsel of Plainview; and her caretaker, Wanda Burton. A great-grandson, Scott Samsel, is deceased.
