Funeral services for Blanche Reeves White, 90, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Wood-Dunning Colonial Chapel with Benny Durham officiating.
Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.
Mrs. White died at 12:25 a.m. March 10, 2004, in Plainview Healthcare Center.
She was born Dec. 2, 1913, the daughter of John A. and Margaret Turner Reeves in Hale Center. She graduated from Hale Center High School and attended Texas Tech University.
On Nov. 27, 1937, she married James Lester White of Cotton Center in Clovis N.M. He died Oct. 17, 2003.
The Whites lived at Cotton Center until moving to Plainview in 1968.
She was active for many years in the 4-H Club, a member of Home Demonstration Club and Northwest Extension Club of Edmonson. She was a seamstress and enjoyed needlework. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include a nephew and his wife, Douglas and Lois Reeves of Katy; and a cousin, Jay Matsler of Lubbock.
Her parents, and a brother, George Reeves, alse are deceased.
The family suggests memorials to the Arthritis Foundation, American Heart Association or to a favorite charity.
