White, James G.

Funeral services for James G. White, 89, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Lake Tanglewood Community Church.

Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors.

Mr. White died Thursday. Dec. 5, 2002, in Amarillo.

He was born in Garza County and was a longtime resident of Plainview. He moved to Amarillo in 1998.

He was a Methodist, a Mason and Gideon. He retired from Southwestern Public Service in 1978.

On Dec. 27, 1938, he married Geraldine ?Jerry? Campbell. She died Nov. 19, 2002.

Survivors include three sons, Charles G. White of Amarillo, Robert E. White of Lubbock and Gerald W. White of Blue Springs, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
