Obituary

Graveside services for Phyllis Ann White, 59, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Parklawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Roger Foote, co-pastor of Colonial Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. Mrs. White died Friday, March 14, 2008, at BSA Hospital in Amarillo. She was born Feb. 16, 1949, in Elk City, Okla., to Marion P. Gainer and Cathrine June Hollis. She married Greg White on May 28, 1965, in Shallowater. She was assistant manager at the old K-Mart for many years and was a school bus driver for Plainview ISD. She also worked in the mailroom for TDCJ. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Wayne White and wife Becky and Stephen White and wife Crystal, all of Plainview; one daughter, Connie Bradley of Irving; one brother, Jessie Lloyd Gainer of Plainview; one sister, Beverly McClure of Plainview; eight grandchildren, Karl White, Joseph Bradley, Kendra White, Rosie White, Hollie White, Jonathan White, Bailly White and Anthony Asiatico; and numerous aunts and uncles.
