Funeral services for Agnes Wesley, 85, formerly of Plainview, will be at 11p.m. Wednesday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with a grandson, Dr. Bruce Wesley, pastor of Clear Creek Community Church in League City and James Jones, lay minister of First Assembly of God in Plainview, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wesley died at 11:32 a.m. Sunday, Dec., 3, 2000, in Lubbock.

She was born Nov.27, 1915, in Cedar Hill where she grew up and attended school. She married Gus Harold Wesley on Aug.4, 1936 in Amarillo. They lived in Cedar Hill, Amarillo, Canyon and Panhandle. In 1953, they moved to Plainview where they owned and operated Wesley Electric and The General Mercantile Store.

They moved to Lubbock in 1993. She attended First Assembly of God in Plainview and had been a noble grand of the Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Waldo Wesley of Plainview and Walt Wesley and Dean Wesley, both of Lubbock; two brothers, Junior Taylor of Lockney and Dale Taylor of Hollis, Okla., eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and a great ?great grandson.

The family will receive friends from 10a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
