Obituary

Graveside services for Lue Watkins, 87, of Plainview, will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Plainview Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Harper officiating. Arrangements are by Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Watkins died Saturday, March 12, 2005, in Plainview. She was born Aug. 25, 1917, to George W. and Melissa Brinsfield in Wewoka, Okla. Survivors include three daughters, Dollie Barker and Darlene David, both of Plainview, and Bertie Nunn of Skellytown; two sons, Sunny Watkins of Lama, Ark., and Dale Watkins of Alma, Ark.; 30 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, John Watkins; one daughter, Shirley (Sam) Templeton; and one son, George W. Price; are deceased.
