Watkins, Ethel Christine Dillard

Funeral services for Ethel Christine Dillard Watkins, 85, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Horace Abbott, pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Watkins died at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2001, in Del Sol Medical Center in El Paso.

She was born Nov. 28, 1915, in Eureka. She was a resident of Plainview for 55 years. Living in Christian Manor for the past two years.

Survivors include one daughter, Darlene Young of El Paso; one son, Larry Watkins of Plainview; one sister, Ruby Cast of Plainview; one brother, Gene Dillard of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two grand-daughters, Kim Manns of El Paso and Karrie Petrofes of Victoria; seven great-grandchildren, Heather and Ashley Manns and Amanda, Matthew, Micheala, Cara, and Alyssa Petrofes; and one nephew, Wren Dillard of Plainview.
