Obituary

Dorothy Walton, 94, of Lubbock died Thursday, April 20, 2006. Graveside services will be held Saturday April 22, at 11 a.m. in the Plainview Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Couch officiating.

Dorothy was born March 3, 1912 in Plainview. She was a graduate of Lubbock High School and Texas Technological College . She married George Walton, March 28, 1937 in Lubbock. He preceded her in death June 28, 2000.

She is survived by her brother, W. B. "Dub" Rushing of Lubbock; two nephews, Don Rushing and wife Beth, and Ted Rushing of Lubbock; three great nieces, and a great nephew.
