Obituary

Paul Waller, 46, Tammy Waller, 44, and Michele Waller, 18, of Plainview, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2015, at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Marrow officiating and the Rev. John Powell assisting. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2015, at the funeral home.

Paul Waller was born on March 19, 1969, to Jack and Donnie Waller in England. He married Tammy Phillips on June 5, 1992, in Plainview, Texas. He was the owner of Paul Waller Garage. Paul served the community in many different organizations and boards including Plainview Serenity Center, Prison Ministry and a director of RA Camp for Caprock Plains. He also taught Sunday school and was an ordained minister.

Survivors include his son Trey Waller; his parents Jack and Donnie Waller of Rogers, Arkansas; one sister, Sheila Desadier and husband John of Rogers, Arkansas; and his grandmother, Pauline Waller of Plainview, Texas. Survivors also include numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Tammy Waller was born on Nov. 11, 1970, to Leonard and Donna Phillips in Dallas, Texas. She married Paul on June 5, 1992, in Plainview, Texas. Tammy did it all, she is truly a servant of God serving on the board for GA Camp, over the preschool Vacation Bible School, working in the nursery at First Baptist Church and also was the extended care coordinator at FBC. She was the treasurer for PHS Band, Band Booster Mom, and was part of PTA at all of the schools her children attended.

Survivors include her son, Trey Waller; her parents, Leonard and Donna Phillips of Plainview, Texas; one brother, Mark Phillips of Plainview, Texas; and her grandmother, Clara Goodgion of Plainview, Texas. Survivors also include numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Michele Waller was born on March 4, 1997, to Paul and Tammy Waller in Lubbock, Texas. Michele, with one 'L', was a very active student involved in Varsity Tennis, FCCLA and Choir. She was also a member of the Powerhouse of the Plains Band where she served as Band Chaplain, leadership team and section leader. While in the band she competed in UIL events and together they received Division 1 ratings all four years. She took dual credit classes at Wayland Baptist University where she planned to attend in the fall. Michele enjoyed volunteering and did so at Compassionate Care, First Baptist Church Children's Ministry Choir and YMCA Child watch. She previously worked at J&J Garden Mart but you might recognize her beautiful smile from Wood Fire Grill where she currently worked.

Survivors include her partner in crime, her brother Trey Waller; her grandparents, Jack and Donnie Waller of Rogers, Arkansas, and Leonard and Donna Phillips of Plainview, Texas; great-grandmothers Pauline Waller and Clara Goodgion, both of Plainview, Texas; aunt, Sheila Desadier and husband John of Rogers, Arkansas; uncle, Mark Phillips of Plainview, Texas.
The Wallers are a compassionate and loving family who were a part of Plainview Lions Club, Paul and Tammy both served as the clubs Tail Twisters, and Michele as Club Princess for the 2013-2014 school year. Paul and Michele previously went on a mission trip to Guatemala to share Christ's love. Tammy and Michele helped deliver Meals on Wheels locally. They had a heart for God's people near and far spreading his joy whenever possible.
