Kirk, Levonia

Graveside services for Levonia Kirk, 84 of Lubbock will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2010 in Plainview Cemetery, with Dr. Ken Horn officiating. A visitation will be held Tuesday, August 3 from 7 to 8 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home.

Levonia pass?d away Friday, July 30, 2010 in Lubbock. She was born September 27, 1925 in Plainview to the late Ira Dee and Reba Mae (Snead) Smith. She married B. L. Walker in 1942; he preceded her in death. She later married Bill Kirk, who also preceded her in death. Levonia was a member of the Gleamers Sunday School Class at South Crest Baptist Church and the Red Hatters.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Benny Lynn Walker.
