Funeral services for Former Plainview resident Joe Walker, 45, of San Angelo, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Hodges officiating.
Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home.
Mr. Walker died Wednesday, June 6, 2001.
He was born June 4, 1956 in Fort Worth. He graduated from Plainview High School and received a degree from Wayland Baptist University in 1991. He worked for Tommy Lewis Industries for seven years and was employed at Wackinhut Unite in Bronte, where he taught vocations to juveniles.
A U.S. Army Veteran, he was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and was a past president of the Plainview Jaycees.
Surviving are a daughter, Sara Joe of Robert Lee; a son, John Paul of Kress; his parents, Paul and Irene Walker of Plainview; two brothers, Lloyd Walker of San Angelo and Warren Paul Walker of Plainview; and two grandchildren.
