Obituary

Graveside services for Marie Hooten Voyles, 88, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Parklawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Jim Ritter officiating. Arrangements are by Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Voyles died Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at Covenant Hospital Plainview. She was born Feb. 28, 1919, in Brookston to Ebb Jones and Ruth Ann Maynard Jones. She married Frank Hooten on Sept. 11, 1937. He died March 7, 1985. She married Paul Voyles on Aug. 18, 1994. Survivors include her husband; a son, John Hooten and wife, Carmaleta, of Plainview; a brother, Shelton Jones of McKinney; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
