Obituary

Funeral services for Nora Voyles, 73, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in First Assembly of God with the Rev. Randy Santiago, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Voyles died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2002, in IHS of Plainview. She was born Nov. 7, 1928, in Plainview where she grew up. She was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God. On Sept. 3, 1944, she married Earnest Voyles in Plainview. Survivors include her husband; seven sons, Richard, Tracy, Jimmy and Jacky Voyles, all of Plainview, David Voyles of Amarillo, Mark Voyles of Arcadia, Okla., and Kenny Voyles of Abilene; one daughter, Gloria Alston of Hale Center; two brothers, Earl Claton and Troy Claton, both of Oklahoma; four sisters, Imogene Mow of Plainview, Leta Mow of Brownwood, Mildred Wilson of Amarillo and Wyona Newton of Dallas; 23 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
