Guadalupe H. Villarreal

Funeral services for Guadalupe H. Villarreal, 65, of Waco, former Plainview resident, were at 10 a.m. today in Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Burial was in Plainview Cemetery by Bartley Funeral Home.

Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel by Mr. and Mrs. Perfecto Pena.

Mr. Villarreal died Saturday, March 13, 2004, in Amarillo.

He was born Oct. 7, 1938, in Corpus Christi. He worked in the parts department for Trane Air Conditioning Co., in Waco. He lived in Plainview for 20 years before moving to Waco in 1997.

He served with the U.S. Navy and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Plainview.

Survivors include his wife Virginia; two sons and daughters-in-law, Norma Northcutt of Dallas, Hilda Sanchez of Garland, Christine Pena of Amarillo, Helen Villarreal of Waco and Nora and Albert Salas of Plainview; a sister Maria Hernandez of Corpus Christi; 14 grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A sister, Juanita Villarreal, is deceased.

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
