Obituary

Funeral Mass for Bobby Vallin, 61, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Reynaldo Reyes, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Lemons Memorial Chapel. Mr. Vallin died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005, in Covenant Medical Center. He was born May 27, 1943, in San Antonio. Survivors include his wife, Sandy Norton of Plainview; two daughters, Diana Vallin of Fort Sam Houston and Tina Vallin of Plainview; one son, Alex Vallin of Denver, Colo.; three sisters, Nina Farias and Gloria Hernandez, both of Plainview, and Diana Castillo of San Antonio; four stepchildren, Cheryl Robles of Phoenix, Ariz., Pam Morris of Pampa, Glen Norton of Seattle, Wash., and Marlin Norton of Utah; and 15 grandchildren. Two brothers, Juan and Jose Vallin, are deceased.
