Jerry Valencia Funeral services for Jerry Valencia, 32 of Plainview, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 23, 2015, at Trinity Life Church with Rev. Steve Martinez officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Valencia died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015, in Plainview. He was born Sept. 4, 1982, in Del Rio, Texas, to Augustine and Idalia Valencia. He worked at the Walmart Tire & Lube Center in Plainview. He is survived by his parents, Augustine and Idalia Valencia of Plainview; three sons, Isaiah and Jerry Jay Valencia both of Plainview and Zachary Valencia of Arlington, Texas; one daughter, Jerusalem Valencia of Arlington, Texas; one brother, Augustine Valencia III and Crystal Marie Perez of Plainview; one sister, Ruby Ann Valencia and Joshua Gonzales of Plainview; maternal grandfather, Juan Gaitan of Del Rio, Texas; paternal grandmother, Alicia Zamora of Del Rio, TX.
