Obituary
"Amy" Villarreal de Valdez, 68, of Plainview, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2015, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Plainview with Father Raymundo Manriquez as celebrant. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited Sunday night at 6 p.m. at Lemons Funeral Home. Amada was born Oct. 13, 1946, in Durango, Mexico, to Pablo Villarreal and Maria de Los Angeles Tellez. She was a homemaker and made a loving home for her children. Amada loved to dance and sing. Her family describes her as a beautiful and happy person. She loved people and always had a blessing to share with those she knew and loved. She was loved by so many and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her mother, Maria De Los Angeles of Ciudad Juarez; two sons, Roberto Rodriguez of Ciudad Juarez and Jose Alfredo Milan of Plainview; five daughters, Maria Ramirez of El Paso, Ana Lilia Rodriguez and Leticia Villarreal, both of Ciudad Juarez, Yolanda Centeno of El Paso and Martha Castillo of Plainview; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters.
