Underwood, Glenn W.

Funeral services for Glenn W. Underwood, 71, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Seth Ward Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Ritter, pastor, officiating.

Burial with Masonic rites will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Memorial Park Chapel of Amarillo.

Mr. Underwood died Friday, July 28, 2000 in Plainview.

He was born Sept. 13, 1928 in Munday and married Joann Smith on Aug. 28, 1948 in Lubbock. He moved to Plainview from Farwell in 1957 and was warehouse manager for Fund Seeds.

He was a Baptist, a 32nd degree Mason and past master of the Farwell Lodge at Bovina and the Arch Keys Lodge in Plainview. He was a veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Galen Underwood of Plainview and Terry Underwood and his wife Diane of Miami, Texas; a daughter, Glenda Palmer and her husband Glen of Plainview; a sister, Mary M. Miller of Gas City, Ind.; one grandchild, Jennifer and Stephen Muncy of Amarillo and one great-grandchild, Berkely Muncy of Amarillo.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until noon Monday at Seth Ward Baptist Church.
