Funeral services for Annie Mae Turner, 49, of Arlington will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Bartley Memorial Chapel with Gloria Turner officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Bartley Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Ms. Turner died Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, in Fort Worth. She was born May 18, 1962, in Plainview to Billie Roy Turner and Eddie Savage. She worked for the Plainview Daily Herald and Excel. She moved to Arlington in 2006. She was a member of United Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Dontr'l Roberts of Grand Prairie; a daughter, Tamekia Laster and husband Jonathan of Arlington; a sister, Billie Cook and husband Norman of Tyler; four aunts, Era Jean Turner, Martha Jane Turner, Carolyn White and Nina Jo Green; five uncles, Roger Turner, Joe Turner, Delbert Turner, Allen Turner and Darin Turner; a grandson, Dorian Laster of Arlington; and a host of cousins.
