Obituary

Mildred B. "Millie" Tudor, 92, formerly of Plainview, went to be with her Father in heaven on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25, 2010. Ms. Tudor donated her body to Texas Tech Health Sciences Center and requested no memorial services. She was born Feb. 11, 1918, in Teague, Texas, to Grover Cleveland and Minnie Kate Bishop. Millie graduated in 1935 from Plainview High School. After graduation, she served a lifelong career working for Mass Mutual Insurance where she traveled the country as an insurance accounting trainer. Upon retirement, she returned to Plainview. In her later years of life she resided at Santa Fe House prior to moving to the Carillon House in Lubbock in March 2010. Survivors include two nephews. Her parents, two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
