Obituary

Funeral services for Frances Irene Tschirgi, 79, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Lemons Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Carrol Green of First Baptist Church of Hale Center officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Tschirgi died Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at Runningwater Draw Care Center in Olton. She was born July 25, 1928, in Hale Center to John Boyd and Frances Irene Arnold. She was a nurse in Plainview for many years. Survivors include two sons, James Wiley Stout Jr. of Hale Center and Donald Martin Tschirgi Jr. of Iowa; four daughters, Marcia Kirkley and Carol Tschirgi, both of Denver, Barbara Mueller of Vail, Colo., and Debra Greer of Austin; two sisters, Jeffie Turner of Plainview and Winnie Gonce of Hale Center; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, James Wiley Stout; her second husband, Donald Martin Tschirgi; one brother, Thrane Parsons; five sisters, Lila Moore, Daisy Louthan, Nell Daffern, Johnnie Warren and Elizabeth Arnold; and one great-grandchild, Sammy Grandfield.
