Trussell, Travis, Mrs. (Nancy Phinny)

Memorial services for Nancy Trussell, 60, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bartley- Silva Memorial Chapel with J Henderson, minister of 11th and Amarillo Street Church of Christ, and Karl King, minister of Garland Street Church of Christ, officiating.

Cremation arrangements are by Bartley-Silva Funeral Home.

Mrs. Trussell died Sunday, June 18, 2000, in Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.

She was born Oct. 26, 1939, in Corsicana where she grew up and graduated from high school. She moved to Plainview in 1953 from Amarillo.

She had worked at F.W. Woolworth, West Drug, Sears & Roebuck, and was a teacher? aide with the Plainview ISD. She owned TNT Enterprise where she designed and constructed birdhouses that she sold at craft shows. She also enjoyed playing bridge.

She was a member of 11th and Amarillo Street Church of Christ.

On June 7, 1958, she married Travis Trussell in Plainview.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Jerry Schaffer of Pampa; her mother, Juanita Phinny of Amarillo; two brothers, Ronnald Phinny 0f Amarillo and Jimmy Phinny of Baytown; and a grandson, Calvin Schaffer of Pampa.

Her father, Walter Phinny, died in 1974 and a sister, Jo Ann Mills, died in 1991.

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society, 3411 73rd, Lubbock, TX 79423.
