DeLeon Trevino (PoPo), 79, of Plainview went home to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Alexander was born in Gonzales, Texas, Feb. 6, 1935. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Plainview. He worked for Excel until he retired in 1997 and had an appliance business in Plainview, where he was known as the "washer and dryer man." He was a very generous and kind man, always with a pocket of bubblegum to give away anywhere he went. Alexander loved his family and friends. He was loved by everyone! He is survived by his wife Connie Trevino of Plainview and children, Alejandro Trevino, Weatherford, Texas; Beatrice Monsivais, Fort Worth; Betty San Juan, Fort Worth; Andrew Trevino, Fort Worth; Terri Tamayo, Fort Worth; Anthony Trevino, Abilene; Alexa Trevino, Abilene; Sara Alcozer, Minot, N.D.; Alexandra Trevino, Plainview; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephew and cousins. There will be a memorial service held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, at First Assembly of God, 1300 N. Interstate 27, Plainview, TX 79072.
