Obituary

Gabriel Trejo, 28, of Plainview passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014, in Lubbock. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Plainview with Father Raymundo Manriquez officiating. Interment will follow the service in Plainview Memorial Park. Funeral service arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Lemons Memorial Chapel.
Gabriel was born on Aug. 15, 1985, in Durango, Mexico, to Demetrio and Hermelinda (Hernandez) Trejo. He worked for SS Equipment and was a former Cargill employee. He loved his family, playing football, going dancing, listening to music and spending time with his children. Gabriel was a big football fan; his favorite teams where the UT Longhorns, Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents. Survivors include his two sons, Andres Gabriel Trejo and Jonathan Trejo; his parents; two sisters, Claudia Reyes and Maria Leon; and many friends.
