Funeral services for Margaret Rodriquez Torres, 74, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Lemons Memorial Chapel with Brother Manuel Rodriquez officiating. Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home. A visitation will be held tonight from 5-9 p.m. at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Torres died Friday, June 4, 2010 at her residence. She was born Sept. 2, 1935, to Cristobal and Felipa Rodriguez in Anson. She married Jessie G. Torres in 1951 in Ralls. She is survived by her husband; five sons and four daughters-in-law, George and Maggie Torres, Baldmore and Ana Maria Torres, Louis and Martha Torres, Daniel and Daniella Torres, all of Plainview, and Carlos Torres of Ralls; six daughters and three sons-in-law, Lala and Frank Diaz, Olivia Campos, Lucy and Salvador Barrientos, Irene and Lee Trevino, Joann Pando, all of Plainview, and Irma Linda Martinez of Florida; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Elvira and Catarino Hernandez, Elena Rodriquez and Delores Fernandez, all of Anson; 42 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by one daughter, Esperanza Torres; one brother, Cristobal Rodriguez; one sister: Juanita Sanchez; and two grandchildren.
