Funeral Mass for Juanita T. Tonche, 84, of Plainview will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Tonche died Monday, April 4, 2011, in Lubbock. She was born Feb. 28, 1927, in Crystal City to Alejandro and Concepcion Torres. She married Manuel Tonche on March 15, 1947, in Crystal City. He died April 18, 1980. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include six sons, Manuel, Jesse, Mike, Guadalupe, Adan and Johnny Tonche, all of Plainview; two daughters, Evangelina "Eva" Arriola and Elizabeth Gonzales, both of Plainview; one stepson, Mercedes Reyes Zuniga of Plainview; one sister, Ramona Calderone of Crystal City; 39 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
