Funeral services for Manuel "Penny" Tonche, 62, of Plain?view will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bartley Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Tonche died Monday, June 13, 2011, in Plainview. He was born Nov. 29, 1948, in Lamesa to Manuel and Juanita Tonche. Survivors include his wife, Rita Tonche of Plainview; one son and daughter-in-law, Manuel III and Maria Tonche of Denton; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Jose Porras of Plainview; two stepsons; two stepdaughters; five brothers, Jesse, Mike, Adan, Johnny and Guadalupe Tonche, all of Plainview; two sisters, Eva Arriola of Lubbock and Elizabeth Gonzales of Plain?view; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
