Obituary

Funeral services for Sandra Tolson, 58, of Plainview will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at First Baptist Church with Bishop Chris Brown and Pastor Gardner officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A wake will be held from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Tolson died Monday, Aug. 4, 2014, in Lubbock. She was born Nov. 12, 1955, in Lockney to Bishop Alex and Leddie Davis Wall. She married Kenneth Tolson on July 3, 1976, in Plainview. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Tolson of Plainview; one son Kenneth Bernard Tolson of Houston; two daughters, Vette Meander and husband Wayne of Amarillo and Sheleta Brooks and husband Regie of Plainview; three brothers, Jerry Wall and wife Georgia of Plainview, Arthur Wall and wife Sherrie of Plainview and Alex Dwayne Wall of Arlington; three sisters, Jeannie Glenn and husband Donald of Plainview, Brenda Wall of Plainview and Linda McClendon and husband Thomas of Amarillo; three grandsons, Kavaughn, Zerrian and J'Ven; one granddaughter Jayda; and one "God" daughter Jasmine Michael.
