Tobacco, Ethel

Abernathy ? Funeral services for Ethel Tobacco, 72, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Northside Baptist Church with the Rev. David Menefee, pastor of First Church of the Nazarene, officiating.

Burial will be in Abernathy Cemetery by Abell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Tobacco died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, at her residence.

She was born Aug. 3, 1926, in Pinewood, S.D. She moved to Abernathy in 1980 from Oregon and was a Catholic.

Her husband R.L. Sanders, did July 1, 1998.

Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Whitfield of Abernathy and Cindy Williams of Butte, Mont.; a son, Thomas Tobacco of South Dakota; five brothers, Rudolph, Vincent, Archie, Elmer and Dick Tobacco all of Pine Ridge, S.D.; two sisters, Hazel Tobacco and Ivlien Tobacco, both of Pine Ridge, S.D.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
