Obituary

Bessie Lee Tinkle, 90, went to be with her Lord on Friday, May 16, 2008, in San Angelo, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2008, at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Anthony Dominguez officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mrs. Tinkle was born Nov. 15, 1917, in Plainview, Texas, to L.V. and Lucy Martin. She married Earl R. Tinkle on Dec. 11, 1933, in Plainview. He preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 1986. She was a member of Southgate Church of Christ. Survivors include five children, Kenneth and Mary Tinkle of Canon City, Colo., Marie Wright of San Angelo, Shirley and Dan Patridge of San Angelo, Larry and Nancy Tinkle of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Linda Easterwood of Austin; one brother, Andy Martin of Amarillo; three sisters, Violet Pinkston of Colorado Springs, Colo., Ruth Kimball of Lockney and Genevieve Willis of Porterville, Calif.; two sisters-in-law, Una Martin of Boise, Idaho, and Jean Martin of Lubbock; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and a sister.
