Thompson, Issac (Ike), Mrs. (Anne Jill Rosalie Gravelle)

Funeral services for Anne Jill Rosalie Gravelle Thompson, 65, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Alice Catholic Church with the Rev. Jim McCartney officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home.

Rosary wll be recited at 7 p.m. today in Lemons Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Thompson died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2003, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.

She was born Sept. 11, 1938, in Malta. She grew up in Swindon, England, and graduated from Swindon College.

She married Clarnece "Tex" Gravelle July 5, 1958, in England. He died July 6, 1976. After their marriage, they moved to El Paso and then to Plainview in 1963.

She was active in the American Kennel Club and American Rabbit Association.

She married Issac "Ike" Thompson Feb. 14, 1996, in Plainview. He died June 25, 2003. They were members in the Flatlanders Flying Club.

Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Debbie Jefferies, Christine and Brack LaDuke and Beverley and Jimmy Haney, all of Plainview; two sons and one daughter-in-law, John and Shay Gravelle and Sean Gravelle, all of Plainview; two brothers, Jack Davison and Royston Davison, both of Swindon, England; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Leslie LaDuke, Miles Haney, Cory Rogers, Andy Rogers, Blake Haney and John Carr Gravelle.

The family suggests memorials to Tommy Lewis Industries or the American Cancer Society.
