Templeton, Billy Mack (Bill), Mrs. (Shirley L. (Sam) Watkins)

Services for Shirley "Sam" Templeton, 67, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bartley Memorial Chapel with John Baird, chaplain of VistaCare Hospice Plainview, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Bartley Funeral Home.

Mrs. Templeton died Friday, Nov. 28, 2003 at her residence.

She was born Sept. 2, 1936, in Wetumka, Okla. She married Billy Mack "Bill" Templeton on Jan. 20, 1977, in Plainview.

She moved to Plainview in 1976 from Alma, Ark. She owned B&S Trucking and was a homemaker. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include her husband; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Steve and Kathy Templeton of Plainview and Roger Don Peevy of Alma; four daughters and three sons-in-law, LInda Shepherd Reavis of Rudy, Ark., Brenda and Ken Limbocker of Alma, Sherli and Michael Decker of Canyon and Glenda and Joe Yates of Odessa; her mother, Lue Watkins of Plainview; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Charlie (Sunny) and Lee Watkins of Altus, Ark., and Dale (Cricket) and Shirley Watkins of Alma; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Dollie Barker of Plainview, Mary Lou Didier of California, Darlene and Vincent David of Plainview and Berta (Chicken) and Cecil Nunn of Skellytown; 17 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Sue Collier; a brother, Oscar Price; and a brother-in-law, Lonnie Reavis, are deceased.

The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
