Obituary

Jewell Mae Teague, 81, of Winters passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008. She was born April 11, 1926, in Winters and grew up there. She married V.J. (Joe) Teague on April 25, 1986, in Plainview. They lived there until 1996 when they returned to Winters. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, V.J. (Joe) Teague of Winters; her children, Brenda Kershaw of Charlotte, N.C., Glenda Johnson of Plainview, Malinda Gresham of Plainview, Danny Joe Gresham of Florida and Terrell Gresham of Las Cruces, N.M.; three sisters, Oma Lee Overman of Austin, Juanell Lange of Winters and Imagene Perry of Dallas; four brothers, Suvern O'Dell of Wingate, Bennie O'Dell of Winters, Kenneth O'Dell of Winters and Franklin O'Dell of Winters; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Winters Funeral Home at 6 p.m. today, Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008, at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview, Texas, under the direction of Winters Funeral Home.
