Obituary

Funeral services for Edna Switzer, 85, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Bartley Memorial Chapel with the Rev. John Truett officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Bartley Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Ms. Switzer died Monday, Dec. 31, 2007, at Covenant Hospital Plainview. She was born Feb. 20, 1932, in Lucy, N.M., to JC and Edna Switzer. She attended school in Tahoka and was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Plainview. Survivors include two brothers, Gerald "Woody" Switzer of Brownwood and Clifford Wayne Switzer of San Antonio; one sister, Manon Mitchell of Ruidoso, N.M.; numerous nieces and nephews; and her friends and family of Central MH/MR Center.
