Funeral services for Alicia H. Summers, 66, of Plainview will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Fellowship Church with Oscar Chavez officiating. Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery. Prayer service will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday night at Bartley Funeral Home. She died Friday, July 25, 2014, in Plainview. She was born March 16, 1948, in Shallowater to Ysabel Herrera and Conception Rodriguez. She married Henry "Buster" Summers on Feb. 23, 1996, in Plainview. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she was a De Colores and also a member of the Guadalupanas. Survivors include husband "Buster" Summers of Plainview; one stepson, Pepper Summers of Louisville, Ky.; three daughters, Mary Jane Flores with husband Joe Anthony of Lubbock, Erma Stinnet with husband Anthony of Frisco, Texas, and Patricia Morris of Plainview; one brother, Jesse Herrera with wife Mary of Plainview; two sisters, Virginia Martinez with husband Adan of Plainview, and Anna Herrera of Lubbock; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary H. Garcia.
