Struve, Victor

Funeral services for Victor Struve, 86, will be at 3 p.m. today in Abernathy Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Teeters, pastor of First Baptist Church in Lamesa, officiating.

Burial will be by Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy.

Mr. Struve was born July 15, 1914, near Abernathy. He married Jean Roberts on Jan. 31, 1937 in Plainview. A retired farmer, he was a member of First Baptist Church and was a past Worshipful Master of the Abernathy Masonic Lodge.

Surviving are his wife; a son, Victor Jr. of Borger; three daughters, Karen Bradley and Betty Pettit, both of Abernathy, and Martha Barrick of Leander; a sister, Anna Manna Durham of Ropesville; eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
