Obituary

Evonne A. Stovall, 88, of Plainview died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at Covenant Hospital Plainview. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, in Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Roger Foote officiating. Services are under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mrs. Stovall was born Nov. 7, 1920, in Brookhaven, Miss., to Lucius and Iva Arrington. She married Phil Santmyer in 1945 and was married for 25 years. She moved to Plainview in 1963. In 1972 she was divorced and later married a widower and lawyer, Robert Stovall. She was preceded in death by one sister, Velma Walton; one brother, A.C. Arrington; and her loving husband, Robert Stovall.
