Obituary
Funeral services for Ola L. Stark, 79, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Garland Street Church of Christ with Bill Keele, minister of the Broken Arrow, Okla., Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home. Mrs. Stark died at 7:12 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2001, in Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. She was born Ola L. Honeycutt on Oct. 13, 1922 in Collinsworth County. She graduated from Samnorwood High School in 1940 and attended Lippert?s Business School in Plainview. She worked as a teller at Hale County State Bank, retiring in 1976. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women?s Club, Knife and Fork Club, Model A Club, Plainview Women?s Club and Garland Street Church of Christ. On Dec. 25, 1942, she married Lytton Stark in Plainview. Survivors include her husband; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Don Lowrance of Corpus Christi and Dianne and Lance Grahn of Milwaukee, Wis.; a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Paula Stark of Plainview; three sisters, Vergie Heinen of Amarillo, Lillie Clevenger of Dallas and Nora McDaniels of San Antonio; three grandchildren, Megan Patrich, Whitney Jenkins and Rains Lowrance. Three brothers and two sisters are deceased. The family suggests memorials to Garland Street Church of Christ.
