Obituary

Vincent Thomas "Vince" Stapleton, 45, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015, in Plainview. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, at Kornerstone Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Steve Martinez officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Stapleton was born on July 29, 1970, to Tommy and Mary Ann Stapleton in Plainview. Vince grew up in Plainview, Texas, graduating from Plainview High School. In 1993 he moved to Little Rock, Arkansas, and attended a Commercial Driving School for Pam-Transport. He drove for Pam-Transport on their General Motors East Coast route. Vince moved back to Texas in 2003. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas "Tommy" Wayne Stapleton who passed away on Aug. 4, 2007; his grandparents T.S. "Shelby" and Anna Mae Stapleton, Vincent Debs and Mary Roselea McLaughlin, and great-grandparents Carl and Ann Jackson. He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Stapleton of Plainview; one brother, Debs Fulton and wife Jackie of McKinney, one nephew, Sheldon Fulton; one niece, Stefhanie Fulton; one great-niece: Thalia Calzada, all of McKinney; and special friends: Dmitri DeLeon and wife Linda of Plainview.
