Josephine Evelyn Springer Funeral services for Josephine Evelyn Springer, 56, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Richard Miller officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. The family will gather following burial at the James Hearn Activity Center, 210 Bullock. Ms. Springer died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, in Lubbock. She was born Aug. 24, 1950, in New York to Joseph Springer and Lillie Mae Riddley. She worked as a nurse for Cargill Meat Solutions for many years. Survivors include one daughter, Rhonda Jackson of Plainview; two sons, Brian Springer and Ronald Springer, both of Plainview; two brothers, Alonzo "Stevie" Springer of Lubbock and Ervin Charles Davis of Arlington; one sister, Bernice Marie Searcy of Lubbock, and 10 grandchildren. Her parents and a brother, Joseph Springer Jr., are deceased.
