Soto, Piedad S.

HALE CENTER ? Funeral Mass for Piedad S. Soto, 82, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Theresa?s Catholic Church with the Rev. Rey Sorgon, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Hale Center Cemetery by Freeman-Abell Funeral Home.

Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today in the same church.

Mrs. Soto died Tuesday, June 13, 2000, in Hale Center.

She was born April 10, 1918, in Chihuahua, Mexico. She moved to Hale Center in 1998 and was a member of St. Theresa?s Catholic Church.

In November 1935, she married Rosario Soto in Mexico. He died in 1997.

Survivors include three sons, Carlos Trejo of Gruver, Crisoforo Trejo of Tyler and Guadalupe Trejo of Morse; three daughters, Catalina Borunda of Phoenix, Ariz., and Emidia Borunda of Hale Center; two brothers, Pedro Soto of Juarez, Mexico and Florencio Soto of Delicias, Mexico; 25 grandchildren; and 50 great-grandchildren.

Three children, Ramon Trejo, Salome Borunda and Bertha Trejo are deceased.
